"At the start of 2020, the managing directors of the Treacys Hotel Group decided to start up our own laundry as the quality of the hired linen that we were getting was very poor and the amount of linen we could not use was getting close to 30%.

We researched many different companies for this project and decided on Irlon.

We decided on setting up 2 double laundries due to the locations of our hotels. So our Waterford laundry services both our Waterford and Enniscorthy hotels, a total of 244 rooms. The Ennis laundry operation services our Shannon and Ennis hotels, with a total of 252 rooms.

Like all new projects, there were some teething problems but Irlon worked very closely with us and had them sorted very quickly, within a few days. A very good company to work with.

I hope this helps anybody deciding to go with their own laundry. I can't determine yet if we are going to save money as it was a very strange year with COVID-19 but the quality of our linen is much better now."
